Troy, over at the blog “Strong Odors”, has started a series of posts asking various creative folks a set of 8 questions. A while back he interviewed Charlyne Yi, who is pretty cool if you ask me, and today I took a stab at his questions. He’s also got some pictures of my project “Field Manual For Creative Endeavors.”

In my own thesis book I asked a handful of people (Marcos Ojeda, David Shields, Isaac Gertman, Martin Venezky) the same 5 questions and really enjoyed being able to compare all their answers at the end. It really felt to me like a rich conversation had taken place, despite the fragmented nature of the process. I look forward to  reading future interviews on Troy’s site and hearing what other people are up to…
